A taskforce has been formed under the leadership of Dr Shreekrishna Giri of Ministry of Health and Population to convene the studies on student enrollment in MBBS in Karnali Academy of Health Sciences (KAHS).
According to the Ministry of Education, the taskforce comprises Dr Jivan Chhetri, Dr Kedar Baral, representatives from Karnali Province, KAHS and Surkhet Hospital.
The taskforce was formed in order to implement the 10-point agreement signed between the government and Dr Govinda KC.
Meanwhile, Nepal Red Cross Society and the Armed Police Force, Nepal jointly conducted a three-day long health camp on ENT (ear, nose and throat) treatment in Balambu, Kathmandu.
Marking the beginning of the camp, executive director of Nepal Red Cross Society Umesh Prasad Mainali said that the humanitarian organization continues to support people in the humanitarian crisis.
Likewise, Senior Superintendent of Armed Police Force, Nepal Harish Chandra Adhikari said that the APF Nepal would move ahead in different aspects of humanitarian services.
