Nepal festival to be organized in Portugal

Portugal, March 27 : Nepal Festival is to be organized in Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal, on the occasion of the New Year, 2075 BS. 

The Non Resident Nepalis Association, Portugal, is organizing such event for the first time in Portugal with an aim to promoting Nepal's arts and folk culture. 

Chairman of NRNA Portugal Kuber Karki told RSS that the event aims to promote Nepal's tourism in the European countries. 

Different social organizations active in Portugal would also assist for organizing the event, it is said. Karki added that approval has been taken from the government agencies in Portugal. 

A dozen of stalls of Nepali produces, handicrafts, Nepali food, garments and others would be kept in the Festival.
