Three held with fake gold from Balkhu

Kathmandu, Nov 28  

The team of police deployed by the Metropolitan Police Sector Balkhu has arrested three persons in possession of one kilogramme of counterfeit gold. 
The arrested ones are Gopal BK, 28, and, Shiv Kumar Kumal, 27, of Dang and Sanjaya Kumar Tiruwa, 27, of Salyan, according to the Metropolitan Police Sector, Balkhu. 
They were arrested on Tuesday night and were made public today. Police held them with the fake gold stashed in a vehicle (Ba 10 Cha 8992) in front of the Royal guest House at Balkhu during the regular checking, shared Metropolitan Police Office Spokesperson Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Puja Singh. 
Police have seized one electronic weighing machine, one scissors and Rs 3 million 665 thousand. Further investigation into the case was underway, police said.
