Youths and students from 40 countries attending the ongoing Asia Pacific Summit have gathered to discuss their roles on global peace and prosperity.
As part of the Asia Pacific Summit, the youths also exchange their views on global peace and prosperity.
Inaugurating the discourse the youths are involving, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Rabindra Adhikari, said the youths could play significant role to ensure peace and prosperity across the globe.
“Youths can make future creative,” he said, adding that their capacity- skills and knowledge- need to be utilized for social, economic and culture transformations.
The Minister reminded that Nepal was marking 2020 as the Visit Nepal Year, so this Asia Pacific Summit would help promote the year.
Nepali youths representing various sectors were honoured with the Youth Ambassador for Peace title.
The discourse is attended by some 300 youths and students including 120 foreigners, it was informed. (RSS)
