Information Center Set Up at Central Zoo
February 20, 2019:
 
Minister for Forest and Environment Shakti Bahadur Basnet inaugurated the Field Marshall Sir John Chapple Education Centre established by the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) in collaboration with the British Embassy and financial support from Nepal Investment Bank Limited.
 
The newly established center named after Field Marshall Sir John Chapple aims to extend the message of conversation to a broader audience. 
 
Nepal Investment Bank said in a statement that it volunteered to establish the educational center in the only zoo in Nepal as a part of its corporate social responsibility. Nepal Investment Bank decided to provide a financial support of Rs 5 million to NTNC’s endeavor that will eventually enhance visitor’s learning experience and overall animal management in the central zoo
