Various eight Nepali schools and restaurants are participating in the gastronomical event the Embassy of France is holding in Nepal coming March 21.
It was shared at a press meet on Thursday. Also known as Good France, it is a unique global gastronomical event held in over 150 countries. The programme has entered its fifth consecutive year. As many as 5,000 chefs from across the world would make French dinner with a local twist.
"Nepal and France share common values when it comes to gastronomy, said French Ambassador to Nepal, Francois Xavier LEGER, during the press meet.
He added that like in France, Nepal also believes in shared meals, in the friendly atmosphere, and use of local organic products.(RSS)
According to him, the gastronomical partners participating in the Good France event spreads the message of a new Nepal: a young, dynamic, vibrant country that is open to the outside.
