Man electrocuted while DJ-ing
Bardibas, July 1 

A man was electrocuted while playing music for a marriage ceremony at Singyani of Bhangaha municipality-2 in Mahottari district on Monday. A short-circuit is reported to have caused the incident, said the police. The deceased identified as Sanjaya Pandit, 19, of Manarashishawa municipality-4 was playing music on a chariot for a marriage procession when the incident occurred, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhav Prasad Budhathoki. Pandit was declared dead at Janakpur Zonal Hospital. It may be noted that the Mahottari district administration has banned playing loud music and provocative songs amidst reports of noise pollution and various types of untoward incidents.(RSS)
