Three killed in road mishap
Siraha, July 1 

Three persons died on the spot and 15 others were injured in a road accident at Padariya chowk in Siraha district on Monday. The deceased have been identified as Ganapati Mahara, 40, of Old Caharwa and Bachiyadevi Ram, 70, of Bariyarpatti rural municipality in the district while identity of the deceased woman is yet to be ascertained. Sub-Inspector at the District Traffic Police Office, Lahan, Manoj Chaudhary, said that the accident took place when a truck (Na 8 Kha 2415) heading towards the west hit a van (Na 1 Ja 7454). The injured are receiving treatment at Lahan-based Ram Prasad Uma Prasad Memorial Hospital.(RSS)
